Holly and Dylan were SO dang sweet and SO ready to have some fun which I freaking adore!! We were blessed with a sunny and windy day at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, CA and it was incredible! The views, their love, and the adorable appearance of their pups made this day so so special. It really felt like I was a third wheel on a date because the love truly shined through into the entire session! These sunny and windy San Diego engagement photos were a total chef’s kiss kind of moment as a photographer! Since the cliffs are such a hot spot for tourists and locals alike we had to do a little bit of climbing to get to my favorite spots and it was freaking worth the cardio! And, the views did not disappoint! One of my favorite things to do is turning an engagement session into a really fun and somewhat crazy date because this is when I get the most authentic photos of my couples! Holly and Dylan did just that!!! We played stupid games and laughed a ton and I absolutely adored how every picture turned out! Especially when the sun came down and brought a gorgeous glow to the entire session!

The Sweet Love Story That Led Them Here

“We first met in college 6 years ago and went on a couple of dates but I knew I was going back to CA and he was living in Indiana so I just didn’t think much of it! 6 years later I knew he was living in Utah and I was going there with my dog for a week or so and asked him to meet up and we got dinner and fell in love the next three days! We went to Colorado over Halloween together and definitely fell in love then… We moved quickly but we also just knew! It feels so right and so natural in every way!”
