Words simply cannot accurately describe the way this Palm Springs Elopement felt…
At a private home in La Quinta, CA surrounded only by immediate family, Lexii & Jose became one. They were so very intentional when planning their Palm Springs Elopement, from exchanging letters for their eyes only before the ceremony to the incredibly emotional first looks with each of Lexii’s grandparents.
I am no stranger to beautiful weddings, but this day was so so so much more than beautiful. I have known Lexii since we were kids. I remember vividly doing “photoshoots” in her backyard while her grandma would make us dinner. So many of my childhood memories include this girl & her family. Fast forward to when she asked me to not only be her photographer but to also officiate. Needless to say, there were tears. And that doesn’t begin to touch on the emotion that flooded the house when they said “I do”.
We let the new titles of ‘husband & wife’ sink in as we explored Palm Springs together.
It was as if the rest of the world slipped away for just a moment while they took in the beautiful gravity of the commitment they just made. I could talk about them for hours & I will probably swoon over these photos for the rest of my life but instead of boring you to death, check out the photos for yourself & I am sure you will fall in love with them as well.
